Building Character and Scholarship Among the UW Stout Student AthletesAfter 20 years as a UW-Stout football coach and instructor, Duey Naatz began his duties as the UW-Stout Athletic Director in August, 2010. This year marks his 9th year in that role. The move to the administrative chair came following three seasons as the Blue Devils' head football coach. The Blue Devils finished the 2009 season with an 8-2 overall mark, the third time in school history Stout Football has finished with eight or more wins in a single season. Prior to that, Duey was an assistant coach at Stout for 17 years. Naatz has been a long-time supporter of Humanitarian Service and Blue Devil Athletics honors a student athlete each year at the end-of-year all-sport recognition banquet. He is active in the community and a current board member of the Dunn County Fish & Game Association. Naatz and his wife, Kay, have two adult sons, Tyler and Adam.
