The Menomonie Sunrise Rotary Club

Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.

The Menomonie Sunrise Rotary Club was chartered in 1994 and has a current membership of 30 Rotarians.  The club is dedicated to supporting the community and the world with a motto of "Service Above Self".  The Sunrise Rotary Club provides support to the community through our personal efforts and our financial contributions.  The Sunrise Rotary has donated over 25,000 hours of member time and $340,000 to community organizations in the past 20 years.
The club has also supported the work of Rotary International in the world with an additional $68,000 donated to the annual funds programs of Rotary International and to the Polio Plus program of Rotary International.  We are an active club with one of our bigger ventures that focuses on the needs of the hungry.   "Kids Against Hunger", a joint food packaging program with the Menomonie (noon) Rotary Club, that packages meals for Dunn County and the world where the need exists.
Join us at Old Towne in North Menomonie on Thursday mornings at 6:45.  Have breakfast on us, and enjoy a good speaker.
