Menomonie Rotary Grant Information

The morning Menomonie Sunrise Rotary Club and the afternoon Rotary Club of Menomonie are both service organizations focused on Community, Youth, Education, and Vocation for the betterment of Dunn County. Awards will be granted on a competitive basis to organizations that support and serve our community.
Grants are for special projects and not intended for ongoing operational expenses or capital campaigns. The grant should be sufficient for your organization to complete the project. If you have matching funds from other sources, the Rotary Club(s) will participate if total funds are sufficient to complete the project.
Process:

Deadlines are as follows:
November 1 Grant Application Due Date
November 30 Grant Review Meeting
December 31 Board meeting to Review & Approve application
January 31 Grants awarded at Rotary meetings
Only online applications will be accepted. The joint grant committee will review and evaluate your application and make recommendations to our Club’s Board of Directors. You will be notified via e-mail and/or letter once the Board makes its decision in December.
Grants will be awarded at a Rotary meeting. You may be required to appear for a presentation of funds. The appropriate Rotary Club granting the award will arrange a date in January for disbursement with your organization.
Rules:
· Grants are awarded at the sole discretion of the morning and afternoon Rotary Clubs.

· The grant is public information. Rotary may use any part of your application for promotional purposes.
· If you are awarded grant funds, your organization will be requested to assist our Rotary Clubs in spreading the word about our grant to the public. We request that you provide a “thank you” letter on your letterhead (if applicable) giving a general description of the project you were able to accomplish with the grant funds. Rotary may publish that letter.
· If you purchased equipment or other form of hard asset, we request that you place a Rotary logo decal on the item. We will provide it at no cost.
· Grant funds are to be used only for the purposes for which the grant was made. You agree to provide the Rotary Club granting your award with a letter detailing the use of grant funds within 90 days after the funds are disbursed.
· If the terms outlined in the rules are not followed, your organization agrees the Rotary Club may recover the grant funds at their discretion
