Paul Harris Award
February 5th, 2021

Paul Harris Award Winner!!! The Menomonie Sunrise Rotary Club had the privilege to honor one of its members at the weekly meeting. President Elect Bethany Lewis presents Christina Mayer with her 8th Paul Harris Award.

Chris stated “I give to Rotary because individual Rotary clubs help local communities. Additionally, if we can eliminate polio through Polio Plus, that will change our entire world for the better. Rotary also supports water projects which change the lives of people in communities less fortunate than ours.  I also give to Rotary because, as a service organization, the funds go to the work of the charity rather than administration.”

Congrats Chris!

Thanks Josh; you are a great example for Rotary!

Work continues on our Community for Vets project to add an additional bedroom.  This past Monday

found Gus Myran painting the exterior siding before installation.  Electrical work is completed and

this project should be completed in about 10 days.  That's good because the house manager already

has a veteran wanting to rent the completed room.  Thanks Gus!
